    The first question we always get is “what does ‘Doxa’ mean?” We’re glad the question is asked, because the answer reveals the very reason that we exist as human beings, and why we exist as a church. “Doxa” is the Greek word for “glory”. It is the contention of all of Scripture that everything that we do and everything that we are is for the glory of God.

Welcome to the website of Doxa Church.

We are a group of people who believe that everything in all creation exists to glorify God, and that we can best do that by worshiping Jesus in spirit and in truth. It is because of who Jesus is and what He has done that we seek to lift him up in our lives, our neighborhoods, our communities, and our cities, so that others may embrace Him as the greatest treasure that we could possibly find.

If you live in the Schenectady Area and you are looking for a church, please email us. We are already in motion with plans to officially launch in the fall, and we are looking for people to help us carry the load.
